Cllr Mohammed Ilyas

Furze Platt Ward, Maidenhead

Mohammed completed primary and secondary schooling  in Maidenhead before studying Applied Chemistry at University.  He then completed his PGCE to qualify as a science teacher and has over 20 years of teaching experience in secondary schools.  Mohammed became a Councillor for Furze Platt in 2011, and then was re-elected with an increased majority in 2015.  He also served as the Chairman of Adult Services and Health Overview and Scrutiny Panel since June 2015.  Mohammed's main areas of interest are health, education and promoting community cohesion.
